We are nerds. Organizing our workspace, using batch-interface programs, writing scripts and setting up time tracking and organization software is somehow exiting and meaningful to us.
We get a kick out of connecting computers together with different protocols, and knowing of the top of our head the meaning of obscure acronyms. Also we feel somehow good logging to computers remotely from a phone and staying connected wherever we are. And don't get me starting about zooming images with two fingers.
